Permit to Work (PTW) Coordinators / Receivers - Electrical Discipline

for upcoming

Oil & Gas projects in Qatar

Candidates must have strong electrical technical knowledge and Responsible for coordinating all PTW activities related to electrical installation, maintenance, and commissioning works, ensuring full compliance with client HSE policies and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and control the PTW (Permit to Work) process for all

electrical works

, ensuring full compliance with client and HSE standards. Verify isolation, grounding, and tagging procedures before work execution. Review and prepare electrical work permits in coordination with site engineers and safety departments. Conduct toolbox talks and participate in worksite risk assessments. Support safe energization/de-energization of systems and maintain accurate permit records. Liaise with operations and maintenance teams to ensure daily electrical work planning and closure compliance.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education:

ITI / Diploma / Degree in

Electrical Engineering

or equivalent.

Experience:

Minimum 5-10 years of experience in electrical maintenance, construction, or commissioning works, with at least 3 years as a PTW Coordinator in oil & gas, petrochemical, or heavy industrial projects. Thorough knowledge of electrical safety standards, LOTO procedures, and PTW systems used by major clients in Oil & Gas (e.g., ADNOC, Qatar Energy, QAFCO etc.). Strong understanding of risk assessment, HSE procedures, and work isolation practices. Excellent communication and coordination skills with multi-discipline teams. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, site-based environment.

Immediate joiners in Qatar preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

PTW Certification from an approved client or authority.

Valid H2S and basic safety training.

Previous experience in Qatar or GCC oil & gas projects
