Protection Engineer
Job Description
We are looking for Electrical Engineering graduate with minimum five (5) years of proven protection & relay configuration and testing experience in Qatar Electrical Distribution. Other experiences such as general scheme checking, CT/VT/Stability checking, General substation equipment testing and commissioning experience, Transformer or Generator testing, LV panel testing, etc.
Requirements & Responsibilities:
? Shall be competent enough to pass the Kahramaa P2 License test
? Shall take LOA from Kahramaa Protection section to access the Kahramaa substations for carrying out the activity.
? Well competent and experienced to carry out the work as per detailed in Appendix-A, fill the test reports at site & shall submit on weekly basis.
? Well confident in live system protection maintenance
? Shall update Kahramaa immediately if any abnormalities.
? Technical responsible person at site
? Shall co-ordinate with Kahramaa protection Engineer on daily basis.
? Fully responsible for day by day site activities
? Excellent in control & Protection scheme drawing
? Technically sound in protection basics and Protection devices
? Excellent in various type of protection schemes
? Shall be familiar with the HSE & Quality procedures of Kahramaa
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: QAR15,000.00 - QAR20,000.00 per month
