Role Summary

Responsible for controlling the numbering, filing, sorting and retrieval of electronically stored or hard copy documentation produced by technical teams, projects or departments in a timely, accurate and efficient manner.

.Responsibilities and Duties:

The Project Engineer is responsible for the technical planning, execution, and completion of joinery and fit-out projects. They ensure that all work is done according to specifications, quality standards, and within the project timeline. Key Responsibilities: Study project drawings, specifications, and technical documents. Plan and schedule project activities in coordination with the site and factory teams. Oversee the production and installation of joinery items, ensuring quality and accuracy. Coordinate between site teams, clients, and subcontractors. Ensure compliance with project budgets and timelines. Solve technical challenges related to material selection, design, and execution. Inspect and approve work at different stages of production and installation. Prepare progress reports and communicate with senior management. Coordinate and manage joinery projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Liaise with clients, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide regular updates on project progress. Oversee site installations, ensuring that joinery works are carried out according to specifications and industry standards. Collaborate with the joinery team to ensure efficient production and timely delivery of materials to project sites. Conduct site visits to assess progress, identify potential issues, and provide solutions to ensure successful project completion. Manage project documentation, including contracts, drawings, specifications, and change orders.
