Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced project manager for a UK led company operating for 7 years in Dubai. The Project Manger would need to be able to handle high end residential renovation projects. The expectation is for a highly motivated individual to oversee and manage ongoing projects on a day to day basis, supporting construction mangers / foremen and supervisors to complete projects on time and on budget. The ideal candidate would be reporting directly to the managing partner who has over 20 year experience in the industry.

This role requires effective leadership, excellent project management skills, and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders including designers, architects, contractors, site team and clients.

Oversee and manage fit-out projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with stakeholders and team members. Coordinate and communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure project goals are met. Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement proactive solutions to mitigate issues. Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks to maintain project quality and compliance with specifications and regulations. Prepare project reports, including progress updates, financial statements, and risk assessments, and present findings to senior management as required. Foster positive relationships with sub contractors and have the ability to manage large labour teams.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field. Proven experience as a Project Manager in the fit-out industry, with a strong track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget. Able to handle multiple projects to a high level of expectation. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders. Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to project management. Knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards. Proficiency in project management software and tools. PMP or similar certification is a plus. Salary is dependant on experience
