Job Summary:
Italco International LLC is looking for an experienced and results-driven
Project Manager - Fitout and Joinery
with a solid engineering background and proven expertise in managing interior fitout and joinery projects in the UAE. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in
project planning
,
cost estimation
,
budgeting
,
BOQ preparation
, and technical software such as
AutoCAD
and
SketchUp
. This role requires strong leadership, coordination, and execution capabilities to ensure successful project delivery from concept to handover.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Management
Prepare detailed
project plans
, timelines, and work breakdown structures.
Monitor project progress and adjust resources and plans as needed to meet deadlines.
Coordinate across departments (design, procurement, production, and site) for seamless execution.
Estimation & Budgeting
Prepare detailed
cost estimations
and
budgets
for fitout and joinery works.
Evaluate material and labor costs and ensure effective cost control throughout the project.
Oversee and validate
BOQs (Bill of Quantities)
and tender documents.
Design & Technical Oversight
Review and interpret technical drawings and specifications using
AutoCAD
and
SketchUp
.
Ensure all technical aspects are properly integrated and executed on-site.
Coordinate with design consultants and internal teams for design approvals.
Site Supervision & Execution
Lead site execution for joinery and fitout works, ensuring adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and safety protocols.
Conduct regular site inspections and resolve on-site challenges promptly.
Manage subcontractors, labor, and suppliers efficiently.
Client & Stakeholder Coordination
Serve as the main point of contact for clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
Organize and attend project meetings, preparing and presenting progress reports and updates.
Ensure client satisfaction through regular communication and timely issue resolution.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related discipline.
Minimum
4 years of UAE experience
in managing
fitout and joinery
projects.
Strong expertise in
project planning
,
cost estimation
,
budgeting
, and
BOQ preparation
.
Proficiency in
AutoCAD
,
SketchUp
, and Microsoft Office tools.
Familiarity with UAE local authority regulations (e.g., DM, Trakhees, Nakheel).
Excellent leadership, communication, and time management skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
UAE driving license is preferred.
