We're looking for a
Project Manager
to join our team and play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional events. If you're passionate about project management, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and want to be part of a team that's redefining the events industry, we want to hear from you!
What you will do
Inter-departmental Processes, Milestone, and Risk Management
+ Coordinate project management systems, procedures, and processes to ensure smooth inter-department timelines and deadlines.
+ Evaluate and align processes to improve overall delivery and approval workflows.
+ Conduct continuous risk assessments, including milestone alignment, resourcing considerations, and contingency planning for potential issues.
Stakeholder Management and Reporting
+ Manage stakeholder interactions across internal teams and external partners at all levels.
+ Ensure clear communication and reporting to internal and external stakeholders, including VIPs and senior stakeholders, throughout the lifecycle of the events.
Event Delivery and Coordination
+ Manage custom event delivery with the Special Projects team, Marketing Manager, and Event Manager.
+ Direct onsite staff and team members to ensure successful event delivery.
+ Oversee non-department-tied deliverables such as badging and merchandise rollout.
+ Support marketing, programming, and operations elements of event delivery, acting as the point of contact for custom projects.
Production and Speaker Management
+ Manage collation of speakers' assets from confirmation to final delivery of presentations and content live at the event.
+ Ensure smooth execution of event production and logistics to accomplish the goals of the events business.
+ Where necessary, manage speaker logistics leading up to the event.
Post-Event Evaluation and Reporting
+ Track post-event milestones and conduct evaluations to assess success metrics and gather feedback.
+ Prepare final reports summarizing achievements, lessons learned, and recommendations for future events.
Meeting Management
+ Manage minutes and tasks reporting, tracking, and monitoring.
Qualifications
What you will bring
Educated to degree level or equivalent.
Significant experience in a Project Management role supporting mid-to-large scale trade exhibitions, conferences, sports events, or FMCG launches and events.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables at different stages of the project life cycle.
Exposure to evaluating and managing inter-departmental processes and milestones.
Proficient in MS Office/Office 365 suite of software, Smart Sheets, and Airtable.
Speaks and writes clearly and fluently in English and Arabic to both individuals and groups.
Strong interpersonal and customer-facing skills with cultural awareness and sensitivity.
Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of managing risk and mitigation planning
