- from RFQ kick-off to final invoice - for dry-dock and afloat repairs (engine overhauls, laser alignment, vibration analysis, steel renewals, etc.).
Create method statements, work packs, and critical path schedules; track execution in Primavera P6 or MS Project.
Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams (mechanical, welding, electrical, machining) across three UAE workshops.
Maintain tight cost control: daily job-card review, variance reporting, material consumption, and overtime approvals.
Act as primary client interface onboard and ashore; manage class/flag surveyors and port authorities.
Enforce HSE, ISO 9001, and class requirements; close NCRs and punch lists inside agreed windows.
What We're Looking For
B.Eng. or B.Sc. in Marine / Mechanical Engineering
(or equivalent).
2+ years
project-engineering experience in ship repair or offshore maintenance
within the GCC
.
Proven track record delivering engine room, propulsion, and hull projects on time and under budget.
Solid grasp of job-cost systems, progress billing, and warranty tracking.
Software: Primavera P6 (or MS Project), AutoCAD, MS Office; ERP exposure (Tally / Zoho) is a plus.
Fluent English; working Hindi advantageous.
UAE driving licence advantageous and willingness to travel between yards at short notice.
