Description of Position

A Project Engineer is responsible for carrying out day to day engineering and technical works. He or she is responsible for attending sea trials onboard vessels to carry out his or her duties. He or she is also responsible for report writing and providing technical assistance to clients.

Responsibility and Authority

1) To prepare Dynamic Positioning System Trial Report

2) To prepare Dynamic Positioning Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA)

3) To attend sea trials onboard vessels

4) To liaise with clients on matters related to technical matters

5) To liaise and coordinate with clients on sea trial schedule

Competency Requirement

1) Proficient in AutoCAD

2) Possess good conversational and written English (IELTS: >7, MUET > 4, TOEFL > 90, Generic: >B+)

3) Proficient in MS Office Suite (MS Word, PPT, Excel)

4) Able to communicate effectively

5) Able to work independently and as a team member

Education / Qualification

1) At least graduated from Degree related to electrical / marine engineering.

2) Must be willing to travel / outstation and oversea

3) Training will be provided
