Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Project/Drilling Coordinator.

Duties & Responsibilities:

+ Develop effective drilling and completion fluids programs that achieve the objectives of the drilling projects for all types of exploration, development, and workover wells.

+ Advise and coordinate the implementation of drilling and completion fluids and all related equipment.

+ Promote safety in fluids related operations.

+ Broad knowledge of various drilling and completion fluids in both shallow water and Deep-water fields, including emulsion related problems, gas hydrates, dual gradient drilling, equipment and calculations, return permeability studies, completions methodologies, mechanical stress and wellbore stability issues.

+ Knowledgeable in applicable solids control and filtration equipment.

+ Working knowledge of laboratory methodologies & chemical safety.

+ Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision and be pro-active in achieving goals and multitasking over several rigs simultaneously.

Qualifications

+ Minimum 6-8+ years operational experience in a similar role plus 4-5 years coordinator experience with High School Diploma or Equivalent

+ Experience of evaluating drilling & completion fluid proposals

+ Operational experience in Drilling Fluids

+ Good communication skills both written and verbal

+ Experience of managing vendors for fluid jobs

+ Business skills in Operations and Administration

+ Integrated project experience would be an advantage

+ Ability to use diplomatic skills in dealing with company and outside customer personnel

+ Should be able to work closely with internal and external customers
