ABOUT US : With over 50 years of industry experience, ECT is a leading aerosol manufacturer in the UAE. ECT now holds the expertise and outreach required to deliver quality products to over 50 countries. We also provide contract manufacturing for regional and international markets for aerosol products, cosmetics & prints. : We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Production Planner to join our team and play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and timely production of our cosmetic and perfume products. The Production Planner will be responsible for a range of tasks related to production planning, materials management, and coordination with various teams to meet our production goals. Responsibilities:
- Monthly Planning based on Sales Forecast: Collaborate with the sales team to create monthly production plans in line with sales forecasts.
- Weekly Planning for Production: Develop weekly production schedules to meet the monthly production goals.
- Scheduling Production Shifts: Coordinate production shifts based on the weekly production plan to optimize manufacturing efficiency.
- Materials Requirement: Communicate material requirements to the purchase team in a timely manner to ensure an uninterrupted supply chain.
- Daily Production Updates: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of daily production activities, ensuring that production is on track.
- Job Monitoring: Monitor ongoing jobs to ensure they are progressing as planned and within budget.
- Production Status: Keep a close eye on production status and ensure that products are delivered on time to meet customer demands.
- Materials Management: Check and manage packaging and raw material availability to support the production plan.
- Follow-up with Purchase Team: Collaborate with the purchase team to track the status of requested materials and ensure their timely availability.
- Bill of Materials (BOM): Create and amend Bill of Materials as needed to support production requirements.
- Coordinating with Sales Team: Work closely with the sales team to accommodate any additional production requirements or changes.
- Materials Consumption: Analyze materials consumption in completed job orders and identify areas for improvement.
- Reporting and Issue Resolution: Discuss production issues with the reporting manager and take proactive steps to address them promptly.
- Material Requirements Planning (MRP): Run MRP on a timely basis to ensure materials are ordered and managed effectively.
- MPS Entries: Make entries in the Master Production Schedule (MPS) to ensure production plans align with business objectives.
- Bachelor\'s degree in a relevant field.
- Proven experience in production planning, preferably in the cosmetics or perfume industry.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Knowledge of Bill of Materials (BOM) and Material Requirements Planning (MRP).
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Immediate Joining Preferred.
