Partner with the best As a Production Planner, you will coordinate and expedite the flow of materials (from suppliers and within departments) according to production schedules. You'll leverage analytics and liaise with colleagues to implement process and procedural improvements. Connecting to the broader business, you'll ensure on-time delivery for customers by forward planning, optimising inventory and supporting fulfilment.

As a Production Planner, you will be responsible for: The key responsibilities of the Materials Planner will include the following:

Working on the materials organization to execute the plan of required materials to be available on time for production and fulfilment as per customer requested date.

Planning and production execution data including work orders, prioritization, capacity constraints and production monitoring.

Implementing an effective and appropriate capacity management and production monitoring system.

Maintaining MRP planning and scheduling parameters for all 'engineer to make' items.

Analyzing planned order report and provide timely release of production work orders as per plan.

Interfacing with production teams and resolve production feed/demand and supply imbalances in volume and mix.

Providing daily guidance and information to the production team regarding the status of production schedules.

Analyzing incoming demand, identify order exceptions, misalignment with product rationalization strategy and opportunities to utilize existing inventor

Qualifications/Requirements:

Have Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance or related field bachelor's degree

Have minimum 2 years' experience in a Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or Finance role

Have tactical execution with a sense of urgency

Have basic understanding of SAP and MRP functionality

Have advanced level understanding of ERP software systems, preferably Oracle R12.

Have good Manufacturing processes knowledge

Desired Qualifications:

Experience in order management, inventory optimization and management, asset utilization and management.

Ability to work with and influence stakeholders.

Knowledge of planning tools such as Cyberplan or any other secondary tools to view and understand planning data.

Certifications: Has completed or will complete part 1 of APICS Certification within first year of joining

Prepare and communicate shortage and backlog reports, and flag other potential interruptions to the Materials Manager & Production Controller

Report scheduling, capacity and production tracking data, statistics and metrics as defined by the Master Schedule policy

Use the guiding principles and the tools of the Manufacturing System to drive continuous improvement wherever applicable
