Job Description

Position: Production Manager - High Fashion Garments

Experience Required: Minimum 5 to 10 years (preferably in high-fashion/luxury garment production management)

Salary Range: AED equivalent to experience and skillset (competitive, discussed during interview)

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage the entire garment production process -- from fabric cutting to final finishing.

Coordinate with factories, production teams, and merchandising departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely order execution.

Plan and monitor fabric, trims, and material requirements in coordination with the merchandising and sourcing teams.

Prepare and manage production schedules, ensuring on-time delivery as per buyer requirements.

Supervise daily operations on the production floor and ensure adherence to quality, safety, and compliance standards.

Track production progress, efficiency, and output through daily reports and MIS updates.

Collaborate with pattern makers, sample rooms, and quality teams to achieve production targets.

Troubleshoot production-related issues promptly and implement corrective and preventive actions.

Monitor manpower utilization and ensure optimum productivity with minimal wastage.

Work closely with quality auditors and finishing teams to maintain high-end luxury garment standards.

Ensure packaging, labeling, and final presentation meet international high-fashion requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering, Garment Technology, or a related field.

Minimum 5 years of proven experience in high-fashion garment manufacturing and production management.

Strong technical knowledge of fabric types, garment construction, trims, and finishing processes.

Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to manage multiple production lines while maintaining premium quality standards.

Sound understanding of production planning, AQL standards, and international buyer requirements.

Capable of working under tight deadlines and handling pressure in a fast-paced environment.
