Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled

Production Engineer

to lead operations at our waste management facility. The role involves supervising a workforce of 25+ personnel while ensuring smooth production, effective material handling, and compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise all production activities within the waste management and recycling plant Manage a team of over 25 workers including machine operators, shift leaders, and general staff Oversee daily

material handling

, ensuring correct loading, unloading, segregation, and flow of materials Monitor and coordinate

weighbridge activities

, ensuring accurate weight recording and documentation of inbound/outbound materials Ensure proper operation of crushing, screening, sorting, and baling equipment Provide

technical guidance

and on-the-ground support to troubleshoot operational and mechanical issues Implement production schedules and optimize workforce and equipment deployment Enforce health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and conduct routine toolbox talks Maintain accurate production and material movement records for daily and monthly reporting Coordinate with maintenance, logistics, and inventory teams to ensure plant efficiency Identify improvement areas to increase throughput and reduce equipment downtime

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Environmental, or Industrial Engineering 6-8 years of hands-on experience in a waste management, recycling, or heavy process industry At least 2-3 years in a leadership/supervisory capacity Strong knowledge of waste processing technologies, material flow, and equipment handling Familiar with

weighbridge systems

, material tracking, and movement documentation Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand and guide on machine operations Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills Knowledge of UAE safety and environmental regulations is a plus Proficiency in MS Office and basic production reporting tools

Preferred:

Experience with crushers, screens, and conveyor systems Certification in NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent HSE standards Familiarity with ERP or production tracking systems
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED7,500.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Required)
