Job Description
We are currently recruiting for Procurement Officer for our office based in Sharjah.
An incumbent will be performing the following responsibilities.
- Responsible for the processing of purchase requisitions, and purchase orders.
- Assist in Preparation of (request of the proposal) RFP, receipt of quotations, bids or proposals, evaluation, and negotiation of certain conditions of contracts in full compliance with rules and regulations.
- To manage the supplier's resource issues, conduct supplier portfolio management.
- Identify suppliers with good performance, make necessary development plan; and spot and phase out suppliers with poor performance.
- Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand, stocks etc.
- Carrying out market analysis to get the best purchasing deals.
- Ensuring the proper tracking of requisitions and purchase orders and updating the database.
- To be responsible for timely delivery of quality goods at the best price.
- Management of logistics and inventory management function.
Qualification: Bachelors or Masters in Supply Chain or in a relevant field.
Experience/Skills: Minimum 03 to 04 years of relevant procurement experience.
- Experience in inventory controlling, Purchasing of raw materials and Stores Operations.
- Proven ability of vendor development/management.
- Proven ability of forecasting purchase requirements.
- Certification of Supply Chain Management will be an added advantage.
- Sharjah: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
