Al Aser United Projects W.L.L is seeking an experienced

Procurement Officer

to manage purchasing activities for our

metal works manufacturing facility

. The ideal candidate must have

strong experience with local suppliers in Qatar

and a proven track record in sourcing, vendor negotiations, and cost-effective purchasing for industrial and fabrication projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Source, evaluate, and negotiate with

local suppliers

for metal works materials, tools, and services. Issue purchase orders and track deliveries to ensure timely supply. Maintain strong vendor relationships and identify new supplier opportunities. Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and ISO documentation requirements. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the production team for material planning. Negotiate contracts to secure the best value for the company.

Requirements:

Minimum 3-5 years' procurement experience in

manufacturing/industrial projects

, preferably

metal works or fabrication industry

.

Mandatory

: Proven network and experience dealing with

local suppliers in Qatar

. Knowledge of steel, fabrication materials, and related consumables.

Valid Qatar Driving License.

Proficient in MS Office and familiar with ISO procurement systems. Excellent communication, negotiation, and vendor management skills. Must be based in Qatar with a transferable visa.
