Job Description

A procurement officer for spare parts is responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing the inventory of replacement parts needed for equipment maintenance and repair. This includes identifying reliable suppliers, negotiating prices, and ensuring timely delivery of quality parts, while also maintaining accurate records and adhering to company policies and regulations.

Researching and assessing potential suppliers of spare parts based on factors like quality, price, reliability, and delivery capabilities. Negotiating favorable terms, pricing, and delivery schedules with suppliers to ensure cost-effective procurement. Creating and processing purchase orders, tracking shipments, and verifying receipt of parts according to purchase agreements. Monitoring stock levels of spare parts, coordinating with the warehouse team, and implementing strategies to prevent shortages or overstocking. Ensuring compliance with import and export regulations when sourcing parts internationally. Keeping detailed records of purchases, prices, supplier information, and inventory levels.

Requirements:



5 years of UAE experience as a Procurement Officer in automotive industry. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing software. Strong communication and negotiation skills.
