. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing quality materials, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring timely procurement of required goods and services to support project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute procurement strategies tailored for joinery and carpentry works.
Source and evaluate suppliers for wood, hardware, laminates, adhesives, and other fit-out materials.
Obtain quotations, compare offers, and negotiate contracts with suppliers.
Ensure timely delivery of materials as per project requirements and timelines.
Maintain and update procurement records, vendor lists, and purchase orders.
Collaborate with design, estimation, and project teams to understand material requirements.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the store team for stock updates.
Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, pricing, and delivery timelines.
Ensure compliance with company policies and project specifications.
Assist in cost control and budget tracking related to procurement.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
3 to 4 years of proven experience
in procurement within the
joinery and carpentry industry
(mandatory).
Strong knowledge of wood products, finishes, hardware, and related materials.
Good understanding of local and international suppliers and sourcing channels.
Proficiency in MS Office and procurement software/tools.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
