Key Responsibilities
Source, negotiate, and procure joinery and fit-out materials, tools, and services.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with local and international suppliers.
Evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, delivery, and reliability.
Prepare purchase orders, contracts, and procurement schedules.
Monitor inventory levels in coordination with store and project teams.
Ensure timely delivery of materials to meet project requirements.
Track, manage, and report on procurement budgets and cost-saving initiatives.
Stay updated on market trends, new materials, and alternative suppliers.
Ensure compliance with company policies, standards, and project specifications.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree/diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum
4-6 years of experience
in procurement, with a strong background in
joinery and fit-out industry
.
Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
Good knowledge of materials such as timber, veneers, laminates, hardware, aluminum, glass, and finishing products.
Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
