The Procurement Officer at the International Institute for Quality Assurance and Food Safety (IIQAF) will be responsible for all activities related to the procurement and supply chain management of all IIQAF services. This individual will need to be able to implement procurement initiatives, provide effective recommendations, build supplier relationships, and ensure that all purchases optimize quality, service, and cost.
Responsibilities
Conduct product/service/vendor research and evaluation of proposals
Manage and maintain supplier relationships
Negotiate contracts and other agreements with suppliers
Ensure that all purchases are of sufficient quality and delivered on time
Handle and resolve any issues with procured services or products
Prepare tender documents, review results, and analyze the bidding process
Monitor and track performance of vendors and contracts
Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities and expenses
Utilize various software solutions to manage contracts and verify inventory
Qualifications
Bachelor\'s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
3 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or related field
Knowledgeable in sourcing, contract management, procurement regulations, and laws
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
Proficient in MS Office, ERP/supply chain systems, and other related software solutions
