As a Procurement Officer you will be responsible for the day-to-day procurement operations. You will handle procurement function, review prices and quality, discuss and negotiate with different suppliers for best terms and conditions, quality assurance and supplies control. For this role, you should have good knowledge of market research, along with solid analytical skills to make sure you're identifying the most profitable offers.
Accountabilities
Maintain all filing of procurement dept.
Maintain all assets assigned to the position holder (such as; laptops, mobile phones, sim cards, etc.)
Provide accurate reports periodically
Duties and Responsibilities
Handle procurement function, review prices and quality, discuss and negotiate with different suppliers for best terms and conditions, quality assurance and supplies control.
Create and maintain good relationships with vendors/suppliers
Decide best course of action in a fast paced environment
Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and other important data
Develop plans for purchasing equipment, services and supplies
Negotiate directly with vendors to get the best possible pricing and payment options.
Ensure that the products and supplies are high quality
Maintain and update list of suppliers and their qualifications, delivery times, and potential future development
Ensure SOP is strictly adhered to.
Work with colleagues and Procurement Manager to complete duties as needed
Liaise with the requestor to understand the specifications/requirements of the service/equipment/product requested.
Follow up and ensure closure at the shortest possible time while ensuring quality.
Any other duties/responsibilities as assigned from time to time based on business requirements.

Experience
Must have 2-3 years related experience in Procurement within The State of Qatar
Must have Qatar Driving License
