Source and procure aluminum profiles, sheets, glass, panels, sealants, gaskets, and related hardware to support production and construction projects.
Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with local and international suppliers to secure competitive pricing, favorable terms, and consistent quality.
Coordinate with engineering, estimation, and production teams to review drawings and Bills of Quantities (BOQs) to determine accurate material requirements.
Monitor delivery schedules and manage logistics to ensure timely material availability for projects.
Maintain optimal inventory levels and prevent material shortages or overstocking.
Handle supplier delivery issues, discrepancies, and quality concerns.
Update project cost sheets and track procurement budgets.
Prepare monthly procurement and cost-saving reports for management.
Ensure all materials comply with project specifications, quality standards (e.g., BS, ASTM), and industry regulations.
Maintain proper procurement documentation and records in line with company procedures.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum
3-7 years
of experience in procurement, preferably in aluminum, facade, construction, or manufacturing industries.
Strong knowledge of aluminum materials, accessories, and fabrication processes.
Proven negotiation skills and experience managing supplier and vendor relationships.
Experience using
ERP systems
(e.g., SAP, Oracle) and strong proficiency in
Microsoft Excel
.
Good understanding of logistics, inventory control, and cost management.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams.
