We are seeking a qualified Procurement Officer with 2 years of experience in the Aluminum and Glass industry in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of procurement processes specific to Aluminum and Glass company, along with a proven track record of successful procurement activities.
Responsibilities:
Procure Materials: Source and negotiate for aluminum, glass, and related materials from suppliers, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular stock audits.
Vendor Relations: Build and maintain relationships with suppliers; resolve issues promptly.
Cost Control: Track procurement costs and seek cost-saving opportunities.
Quality Assurance: Ensure materials meet company standards; coordinate testing and certification.
Documentation & Reporting: Prepare purchase orders, maintain procurement records, and generate regular reports.
Collaboration: Work with production, finance, and quality teams to ensure smooth operations.
Market Research: Stay updated on market trends, new suppliers, and regulations.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field (Engineering or Materials Science a plus).
Experience:
2-3 years in procurement, preferably in aluminum or glass manufacturing.
Skills:
Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills; knowledge of procurement software and materials in aluminum/glass industries.
