About the Role:

Nauru Medical Centre is seeking an experienced and results-driven

Procurement Manager

to oversee all purchasing and supply chain activities for our healthcare operations. The successful candidate will ensure cost-effective procurement of medical equipment, pharmaceuticals, and hospital supplies, while maintaining compliance with quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement procurement strategies to support hospital operations and cost efficiency. Source and evaluate suppliers for medical equipment, consumables, and services. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with vendors. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with departments to ensure timely replenishment of critical supplies. Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, supplier performance, and contract documentation. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies. Collaborate with finance, logistics, and clinical departments to streamline purchasing and delivery processes.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum

5 years of experience

in

procurement or supply chain

, preferably in a

hospital or healthcare environment

. Strong knowledge of medical supplies, equipment sourcing, and vendor management. Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office applications. Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
