Job Summary:



The Procurement & Logistics Coordinator is responsible for sourcing materials, obtaining quotations, managing vendor relations, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services. The role supports the full procurement cycle, handles logistics operations, and coordinates with internal departments to maintain smooth workflow.

Key Responsibilities:Procurement:



Source and procure materials, equipment, and services as required by the company. Obtain and evaluate quotations to ensure competitive pricing. Prepare and process purchase orders (POs) for approval. Maintain a database of suppliers, pricing, and contracts. Negotiate prices, delivery schedules, and payment terms. Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment with the store/warehouse team.

Logistics:



Coordinate the movement of materials between suppliers, warehouse, and project/office locations. Track and monitor all incoming shipments to ensure timely delivery. Arrange transportation for materials and goods when required. Ensure proper documentation for deliveries, returns, and transfers. Resolve logistics-related issues such as delays or discrepancies.

Documentation & Reporting:



Maintain accurate records of POs, delivery notes, GRNs, and invoices. Prepare regular procurement and logistics reports for management. Monitor supplier performance and maintain evaluation records. Ensure proper documentation standards for audits and internal review.

Internal Coordination:



Coordinate with operations, maintenance, and project teams for material requirements. Liaise with the finance department for invoice processing and payment follow-ups. Support urgent or emergency procurement requests when required.

Qualifications & Skills:



Bachelor's degree or diploma in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.

Minimum 2-3 years of experience in procurement and logistics.

Strong negotiation and communication skills. Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks. Good organizational and time-management abilities.

Additional Requirements:



UAE driving license (preferred). Good knowledge of local suppliers and FM industry procurement standards.
