We are looking for a skilled Procurement & Logistics coordinator with solid experience in managing both logistics (60%) and procurement (40%) functions, specifically in project-based environments such as flooring, infrastructure, and carpets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in POs, LPOs, Sea Freight, Airfreight, Customs Clearances in MENA region.
Required Skills & Experience:
Minimum 3 years of combined experience in procurement and logistics, with a focus on projects.
Strong understanding of flooring and ceiling products.
Proficient in Tally ERP systems and salesforce.
Strong negotiation, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Logistics (60%)
Coordinate end-to-end logistics for the timely and cost-effective delivery of project materials.
Manage international and local shipments, customs documentation, and compliance.
Interface with freight forwarders and logistics service providers.
Monitor inventory levels and ensure proper documentation of all logistics activities.
Add all the GRNs to the system and issue delivery notes.
Procurement (40%)
Execute procurement activities for materials based on project specifications and timelines.
Identify, evaluate, and manage suppliers for quality, price competitiveness, and reliability.
Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing in alignment with project and company requirements.
Collaborate with technical teams to ensure the accuracy of material specifications and delivery schedules. Prepare purchase orders and contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and UAE procurement regulations.
Track and monitor deliveries, resolve supply issues, and ensure timely completion of procurement documentation.
Assist in contract administration and support audits with accurate procurement records.
Monitor market trends, material cost fluctuations, and supply chain risks.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Reporting to Procurement and Logistics Officer, working closely with Project Managers, and Senior Engineers to align procurement and logistics strategies with project needs.
