Job Description
Position: Procurement Executive Responsible for all purchase related activities for a multi-location network of service centers Responsible for vendor development & management, negotiation, deal finalization, evaluation of proposals, preparing contracts, alternative vendor development etc Should do materials planning with least inventory . Experience in Raw Material sourcing such as Oud, Veneer, Marble, Foam, Core and CSM. Planning of material requirement as per the Production plan Responsible for Inward Quality of the material Vendor evaluation and vendor rating Follow up for delivery of materials and ensure on time supplies Co-ordination with accounts for on time release of payments Improvement in SOP for procurement as per industry standards Should put processes in place, support branches in sales/service functions Candidate would be responsible to ensure quality, cost and delivery standards are met for supplies to centers Constantly review the procurement costs & work on reduction, upgrade vendor capability, strengthen purchase & delivery systems Proper documentation & delivery systems Proper documentation of purchases/vendor profiles Maintenance of material master database Identification of new vendors Any other tasks assigned by the Line Manager
