Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Sourcing of new and/or potential vendors/suppliers of various materials intended for Fit-out projects and carpentry/joinery materials (wood, hardware and paint materials) and others as required for the project. Review/prepares comparative analysis and evaluation of quotations from suppliers Negotiating contract terms of agreement, pricing, shipment and delivery. Track orders and ensure timely delivery. Review quality of purchased products. Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analysis. Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage. Create detailed proposal documents, often as part of a formal bidding process which is largely dictated by the prospective customer

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field is

beneficial

Proven work experience as a Procurement Engineer or similar role with comprehensive experience in sourcing/purchasing of materials Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating and liaising with vendors). Understanding of supply chain procedures. Solid analytical skills, with the ability to create and conduct cost analysis. Negotiation skills. Liaise with logistics / procurement on deliveries
