Position: Procurement Assistant (Female)
Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE
Experience Required: 3-4 years
Salary: AED 4,000 per month
Joining: Immediate joiners will be preferred
About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Female Procurement Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of solid procurement experience and will be responsible for supporting the procurement department in ensuring the efficient and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services. This role is critical for maintaining smooth operational flow and requires excellent organizational and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Purchase Order Management: Prepare, process, and track purchase orders (POs) from requisition to delivery.
  • Vendor Coordination: Communicate with suppliers regarding orders, pricing, delivery schedules, and resolving any issues.
  • Sourcing & Quotations: Assist in sourcing new suppliers, obtaining quotes, and conducting preliminary price comparisons.
  • Documentation & Filing: Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records, including POs, delivery notes, invoices, and vendor files.
  • Inventory Support: Collaborate with the warehouse/store to monitor inventory levels and initiate purchase requests for replenishment.
  • Reporting: Assist in preparing procurement reports, such as purchase summaries and cost analyses.
  • Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and procedures.
  • Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the procurement team, including scheduling meetings and managing correspondence.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Gender: Female (as per client/company requirement)
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-4 years of hands-on experience in a procurement or purchasing assistant role.
  • Education: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a relevant field.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) is essential.
  • Experience with procurement software or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a strong advantage.
  • Language: Fluency in English (both written and spoken). Knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
  • Personal Attributes:
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive, reliable, and a strong team player.
