Pricing Specialist- Sea/Air

Rate Procurement:

Procure rates from carriers, promptly attending & responding to inquiries from customers.

Rate Negotiation:

Negotiate rates with airlines, shipping lines, and other transportation providers to ensure the best possible pricing.

Establish, negotiate, and execute service level agreements with ocean carriers.

Quotation Preparation:

Prepare and provide accurate and timely freight quotations to sales/ Sea or Air Operations Specialist

Ensure all quotations are competitive and in line with market rates and company guidelines.

Financial Evaluation:

Perform financial evaluations to assess the effectiveness of pricing actions.

Analyze pricing trends and market conditions to make informed pricing decisions.

Record Maintenance:

Maintain up-to-date records of negotiated rates and agreements.

Ensure all records are accurate and accessible for reference.

Customer Support:

Provide support to customers regarding pricing inquiries and freight solutions.

Address customer concerns and provide solutions to ensure customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

Minimum Bachelor's degree is required Minimum 4-5 years of experience in the freight forwarding industry At least 3 years experience in UAE. Has proficiency in pricing or relevant skills to the role. Minimum of 5 years in the UAE of experience in civil engineering, preferably in construction projects. Proficiency in MS Office Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
