Job Summary.
A Portfolio Lead - Heat Transfer Equipment to offer technical specialist knowledge for assigned regional tenders and projects, technical specialist knowledge to equipment development work according to defined priorities, technical specialist knowledge and active support to equipment certification, technical specialist knowledge to equipment fabrication quality processes follow-up, develop material to train regional engineers on equipment definition, fabrication & operation.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Have deep specialist knowledge on assigned equipment (Heat Transfer Equipment)
Participate with Head of procurement on the definition of dedicated equipment need, on identifying preferred supplier, on identifying strength and weakness, on identifying new supplier or new equipment to simplify decision with proper risk mitigation
Offer technical specialist knowledge for assigned regional tenders
Prepare technical bid documents based on process datasheets, client specifications, and industry codes and standards
Approved technical equipment definition
Defined with tender team the right suppliers to send RFQ
Follow and clarify with selected supplier
Plan audit when necessary
Offer technical specialist knowledge for assigned regional projects
Approve technical equipment definition based on process datasheets, client specifications, and industry codes and standards
Will be required to check specifications, data sheets, Technical bids, purchase orders, resolve technical queries from vendors.
Follow and approved technical document generated by supplier
Plan and participate with project all inspections required
Offer technical specialist knowledge to equipment development work according to defined priorities
Act as a Project Manager
Coordinate with all disciplines
Optimize Equipment technology to increase product performances and reduce the manufacturing, CO2 emission and energy consumption
Offer technical specialist knowledge and active support to equipment certification
Manage initial electrical certification of the equipment
Follow equipment certification renewal
Follow the electrical norm certification (Atex, IECEx, \xe2\x80\xa6) evolution and manage the consequences on NOV equipment product line
Offer technical specialist knowledge to equipment fabrication quality processes follow-up
Perform internal quality audits when necessary
Pilot quality processus
Provide time efficient and quality response to clients and P&L centers in commercial projects
Execute feasibility studies / conceptual design input to these for assigned subject.
Recognize problems and discrepancies in work process and provide recommendations for improvement.
Strong knowledge on industry standards and competition landscape for assigned equipment

Performance and deadline driven, ability to work in a high-pressure environment, duration as needed, is to be expected
Provide leadership, oversee, coordinate and review the work of indirect subordinates to deliver winning tenders
Working with the tender team the application engineers\' devise solutions using experience and/or precedent to create unique selling propositions
Working with the Power nit manufacturing team devise solutions using experience and/or precedent to create unique selling propositions
Ensure the tender is cost focused, and developed in the most attractive manner for client
Manage communication towards client, participate in tender negotiations based on approved mandate
After completed tender ensure that lessons learned are captured, and shared with the Tender Group When won: Ensure a proper hand over to execution team in accordance with Company procedures
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/SKILL-SET REQUIRED:
Minimum of 5 years\' experience writing specifications, performing equipment selections, studies, requisitions, technical bid evaluation and vendor document reviews.
BSc or MSc in Mechanical (or Chemical) Engineering.
10 years of relevant experience in Oil and Gas facilities.
Familiar with ASME, TEMA and API requirements for Heat Transfer Equipment
Troubleshooting experience
Stakeholder Management skills - Proven ability to build strong working relationship with internal and external parties
