We are looking for Mechanical Department Manager to be based in Abu Dhabi - UAE

Roles and responsibility

Establishes and maintains the technical standards within the discipline. Sets strategic and tactical direction with regard to policy/procedures, work force staffing, and budgeting. Responsible to overview the mechanical discipline deliverables with respect to the design, specification, selection and services relating to mechanical equipment including rotating machinery, pressure vessels, atmospheric storage tanks, fired and unfired heat transfer equipment, utility equipment, packaged units, material handling and solids processing systems. Additionally where projects require the managing the specification, selection and services of mechanical systems for buildings such as gases, fluids, and heating, ventilating, air conditioning and vertical transportation.

Minimum Qualifications

Requirements are an undergraduate degree in Engineering and a minimum of 15 years Oil and Gas Upstream / Mid stream / Downstream related experience, with average experience of 20+ years. Candidate is expected to hold a certification as a Licensed/Chartered Professional Engineer. Candidate should demonstrate ability to conceive of and develop creative/innovative technology critical to the company's success. Candidate should demonstrate strong inter personal skills as well as good technical knowledge of mechanical discipline scope .
