Port Services Husbandry Coordinator

We are looking for a Port Services Husbandry Coordinator to manage the customers\xe2\x80\x99 requirements as per the established Service Agreement and to monitor customer service needs, follow up port calls and provide support to the customers.
In Wilhelmsen Port Services, we provide our customers with piece of mind while we handle their cargo, their vessels and their crew. We handle 75,000 port calls per year, which means that every 7 minutes, anywhere around the world, we send a ship safely out to sea again to fulfil its purpose. We match local expertise with strict global standards, making sure we consistently make our customers\xe2\x80\x99 port calls as efficient and safe as possible.

What you will be doing:
  • Coordination with Account sales on matters related to the coordination and service performance of Husbandry port calls entering the area.
  • Respond and follow up on customer enquiries.
  • Ensure that all appointments are handled without delay and assigned correctly to responsible for service execution.
  • Ensure advance funding (approved by customer) is remitted correctly to local agent\xe2\x80\x99s bank account at least 3 days before vessel arrival.
  • Coordinate port calls and services effectively, including proper monitoring of the vessel and attendance to any change requests.
  • Select and book suppliers and sub-agents using standard supplier management processes.
  • Monitor and record expenses that arise during vessels\xe2\x80\x99 port call.
  • For global port calls, monitor the execution of the port call and work closely with Operations to ensure that we meet customers\xe2\x80\x99 expectations.
  • Register and follow up complaints/non-compliances through Improvement Potential system.
  • Attend business review meetings with customers as required and interact with the relevant KAMs.
    • Qualifications
    • Formal education to degree level in business, marketing or other relevant degree.
    • Excellent communication skills and a good command of the English language.
    • Good management and administrative skills.
    • Able to meet deadlines through good time management and allocation of priorities.
    • Computer literate and good command of MS Office, CRM systems, Excel etc.
    • Proactive, takes responsibility and delivers.
    • Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
