Role Overview:
Support the Project Management Office (PMO) in coordinating projects for business-as-usual operations and major sporting events. Responsible for project tracking, reporting, documentation, and ensuring smooth execution of PMO processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management Support:
Assist in developing and maintaining
Technology Delivery process workflows, diagrams, templates, and repositories
.
Validate stakeholder outputs to ensure compliance with
PMO and Technology Delivery standards
.
Attend meetings, record
clear and concise minutes
, and track follow-ups.
Monitor and track
open actions, risks, and dependencies
until closure.
Prepare
management reports, dashboards, and periodic status updates
.
Maintain project-related documentation and repository systems.
Support the PMO function in maintaining accurate and updated project data.
Executive Administration Support:
Provide
administrative support
, including meeting scheduling, agenda preparation, and minute taking.
Prepare and distribute
project communications, reports, and updates
.
Record, track, and follow up on
actions, risks, and dependencies
with responsible owners.
Maintain proper
version control
for all project documents.
Develop and distribute
tournament-time reports
summarizing event readiness across functional areas.
File official communications, memos, and reports as required.
Undertake additional responsibilities assigned by the supervisor.
Required Experience & Qualifications:
4+ years
of relevant experience in the IT industry, including
2+ years in a PMO, project coordination, or similar role
.
Bilingual (Arabic & English)
- mandatory*. Consulting background preferred, with exposure to
multiple client environments
.
Bachelor's Degree in
Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering
, or equivalent.
Diploma holders with
4+ years of similar experience
will also be considered.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Strong understanding of
project management methodologies and tools
.
Proven experience in
data analysis
and report preparation.
Proficiency in
Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Smartsheet).
Excellent
communication and stakeholder management
skills.
Strong
attention to detail
, organization, and multitasking abilities.
