Wood is currently recruiting for a PMC Project Director with extensive experience in the petrochemical industry.
Overview / Responsibilities Perform the Formal Contract Review with the Client Project Manager, immediately after the Contract award Liaise with Client's representatives and organize the kick-off meeting Ensure that the EPC Contractor implement the Procedure for risk management, including the preparation of the risk management plan and register the Constructability Program all engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning activities in accordance with Project requirements and in line with the project schedule preparation of the safety program HSE procedures and standards in compliance with applicable laws, Health and Safety Documentation and Environmental Management Manual Supervision of all personnel to be in compliance with the applicable HSE procedures, with particular regard to health and safety care Solicit staff to verify that all personnel work in a safety manner Enforce the Emergency procedures, if necessary Check that necessary remedial actions by EPC Contractor are taken to maintain the Project on schedule and within the budget receive Nonconformity Reports (Quality Forms) and check that Corrective Actions to be performed by EPC Contractor are taken discuss validity of EPC Contract changes with the Client approve Progress Report Check that EPC Contractor complete the Handover Check that EPC Contractor prepare the End Project Report Check that EPC Contractor properly and timely close out the project Skills / Qualifications
Bachelor's degree Minimum of 20 years' experience Minimum of 5 years in similar position Good leadership and team building skills Good written and verbal communication skills Experience in PMC / EPC Organization in Refinery / Petrochemical Industries and have managed major projects Company Overview
