Job Summary:

The Plumbing Site Engineer (MEP) will be responsible for supervising and managing the plumbing systems and related works on-site. This includes installation, testing, commissioning, and coordination with other MEP services to ensure successful project execution according to specifications, timelines, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and execute all plumbing-related activities on construction sites in accordance with approved drawings and specifications. Review and interpret project plans, schematics, and blueprints for plumbing systems. Coordinate with other MEP disciplines (mechanical, electrical, HVAC) for clash-free installation. Ensure all plumbing work complies with local codes, regulations, and safety standards. Monitor site progress and prepare daily/weekly reports on plumbing works. Inspect the materials delivered to the site for conformity with approved specifications and quality. Plan and allocate work to subcontractors and in-house teams. Attend site meetings and coordinate with consultants, architects, and contractors. Supervise pressure tests, drainage tests, and commissioning activities. Resolve technical issues and report any site variations or delays to the MEP Project Manager. Ensure all plumbing installations are completed within the scheduled timelines and budget.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical field. Minimum 3-5 years of proven experience as a Plumbing Engineer in MEP projects. Strong understanding of plumbing systems, including water supply, drainage, sewage, and fire suppression. Familiarity with MEP coordination tools such as AutoCAD, Revit MEP, or Navisworks is a plus. Good knowledge of relevant plumbing codes and standards (e.g., IPC, UPC, NFPA). Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure and in fast-paced environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in high-rise buildings, commercial complexes, or large-scale infrastructure projects. Certification in safety procedures (e.g., OSHA, NEBOSH) is an advantage. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project tracking software.
