Site Engineer - MEP (Electrical, Mechanical & Plumbing)
Job Summary:
As a Site Engineer at Drake & Scull, you will be the technical authority on site, responsible for the direct supervision and execution of all MEP works. You will ensure installations are performed to the highest standards of quality and safety, in strict adherence to project drawings, specifications, and timelines.
Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and direct MEP subcontractors and crews for all electrical, mechanical, and plumbing installations.
• Interpret complex MEP drawings and specifications, ensuring they are correctly implemented on site.
• Conduct daily inspections of work in progress to ensure compliance with quality standards and approved methodologies.
• Liaise with consultants and clients to resolve site queries and secure necessary approvals (IRN, MIR).
• Coordinate closely with other trade engineers to prevent clashes and ensure integrated project execution.
• Monitor site progress and report daily to the Project Manager, highlighting any issues or delays.
• Ensure strict adherence to Drake & Scull's and the client's Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies.
• Assist in the planning and execution of system testing, commissioning, and handover.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 3-5 years of experience in a site-based MEP role with a major contractor in the GCC.
• Proven hands-on experience in managing MEP site operations for large-scale building projects.
• In-depth knowledge of local authority regulations and standards (e.g., DEWA, ADDC, DM).
