About the Role
Nauru Medical Centre is seeking a compassionate, skilled, and motivated
Pediatric Nurse
to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to infants, children, and adolescents while working in a supportive and multicultural environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients in accordance with clinical guidelines.
Monitor patient vitals, administer medications, and support physicians in examinations and procedures.
Assess, plan, and implement individualized care plans for children.
Educate families on patient care, treatment plans, and health maintenance.
Maintain accurate and detailed medical records.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective patient care.
Qualifications
Registered Nurse (RN) with valid nursing license.
Minimum 3 years of paediatric nursing experience, with at least 1 year in a PICU setting.
Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
BLS (Basic Life Support) and PALS (Paediatric Advanced Life Support) certification required.
Experience working in a hospital or healthcare facility preferred.
