Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead the daily operations of the pastry kitchen, ensuring high standards of quality, hygiene, and presentation.
Create and innovate Turkish pastries such as baklava, kunefe, tulumba, and other traditional desserts.
Develop new dessert menus incorporating both Turkish and international flavors.
Supervise and train pastry team staff to ensure consistent product quality.
Manage inventory, supply orders, and cost control for pastry items.
Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation regulations.
Collaborate with the Executive Chef for menu planning and special events.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, including hands-on Turkish pastry-making experience.
Prior work experience in Qatar is highly preferred.
Excellent knowledge of both traditional and modern pastry techniques.
Strong leadership, time management, and communication skills.
Degree or diploma in Culinary Arts or related field is an advantage.
