We are seeking a creative, skilled, and experienced
Bakery & Pastry Head Chef
to lead and manage our pastry and bakery section. The ideal candidate should have a passion for baking, strong leadership skills, and a flair for innovation while maintaining traditional pastry techniques. This role is crucial in ensuring consistent product quality, staff training, and efficient kitchen operations in line with UAE food safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, develop, and execute high-quality bakery and pastry products, including breads, viennoiseries, desserts, and specialty items.
Supervise and lead the bakery and pastry team, ensuring high standards of hygiene, preparation, and presentation.
Innovate seasonal and specialty menus while maintaining cost control and minimizing waste.
Monitor kitchen operations to ensure compliance with HACCP and UAE food safety standards.
Collaborate with procurement for ingredient sourcing, ensuring the use of premium and cost-effective supplies.
Manage inventory, costings, and stock rotation to optimize kitchen performance.
Train and mentor junior pastry chefs and kitchen staff to uphold quality and consistency.
Work closely with Executive Chef and other department heads on event planning, catering menus, and special requests.
Stay updated with global trends in pastry and bakery to incorporate new techniques and products

Pay: AED100.00 - AED200.00 per month
