About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled

Pastry Chef de Partie

to join our vibrant culinary team at

Saya

. The ideal candidate will have a passion for pastry arts, attention to detail, and a commitment to creating exceptional desserts and baked goods that elevate the guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and produce high-quality pastries, desserts, and baked goods according to menu specifications. Ensure all pastry items are consistently prepared and meet established quality standards. Assist the Pastry Sous Chef and Head Pastry Chef in developing new dessert recipes and creative presentations. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the pastry section at all times. Ensure proper storage, labeling, and rotation of ingredients and finished products. Follow strict food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards. Monitor ingredient stock levels and report shortages promptly. Train and guide Commis or junior pastry staff when required. Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient service operations.

Requirements

Proven experience as a

Pastry Chef de Partie

or in a similar role (1-3 years preferred). Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, baking methods, and dessert presentation. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to work under pressure. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays. Fluency in

English

and

Arabic

(Arabic-speaking candidates preferred). Culinary diploma or certification in pastry arts is an advantage.
