Pastry & Bakery Commis
to join our kitchen team and support our pastry chef in preparing high-quality baked goods and desserts.Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation of pastries, breads, and other baked items as per the menu and chef's direction. Follow recipes and presentation standards consistently. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the pastry and bakery section. Monitor ingredients and inform the chef of stock levels. Ensure food is stored and handled safely according to health standards.
Requirements:
Prior experience or formal training in bakery and pastry preferred. Passion for baking and attention to detail. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Team player with a willingness to learn and grow. Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required.
