ABOUT THE ROLE The Corporate Payroll and Compensation & Benefits Analyst is responsible for corporate payroll process ensuring the timely and accurate administration of employee compensation and benefits in accordance with established policies and within the required turnaround times , support the development and implementation of compensation and benefits related policies and procedures, handle contractor’s payroll and the assigned POML globally located Business Units and elaborate reports such as: Reconciliation and variance reports, payroll budget sheets. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Corporate & Global Payroll
Review and reconciliation of corporate office payroll. Ensuring to allocate personnel cost recharges to respective BU and as per budget by liaising with Finance upon receipt of DP World recharge invoice.
Payroll run for office staff employees located in Corporate Office and other assigned business units.
Handling payroll for Contractors.
Process payment in the bank.
Assist in reviewing payroll files on monthly basis for other business units as and when required i.e report concerns, discrepancy or unusual entries if any .
Benefits & Compensation
Ensure offshore employees benefits reimbursements are handled on time with no unnecessary delays
Advise Line Manager if discrepancies are found on how Compensation & benefits are managed.
Headcount Management
Consolidate headcount report across POML group and send to HR Director with variance analysis from previous month.
Budgets / Incentives / Audits
Review the global personnel cost budgets across POML group.
Ensure Global salary review alignments across POML and its global business units.
Review Global POML business units Bonuses.
Liaise with external auditors in terms of Payroll interim/YE audits, as well as ICV/IKTVA requirements.
Insurance
Handles Life/PA for corporate and selected offshore regional business units (local & expats) i.e AZ, KZ, TM, Russia, QA and KSA (including claim requests).
Manage medical insurance renewal of expats staff in AZ, KZ, TM, Russia, QA and KSA.
Assist Manager Business Support for non-marine insurance working – WC and FG.
Compliance
FRC (Fraud Risk Champion) - First point of contact of DP World FRS team for any Whistleblowing report relating to POML group.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in HR or Finance or equivalent
Minimum Experience:
Must have minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role
International exposure will be an advantage
Advanced HR systems knowledge in Oracle Fusion, JDE
Extensive experience in processing payroll payments with bank(s)
Good knowledge of handling Compensation & Benefits
Experience with dealing with Insurance Brokers for Medical, Life and PA insurances
Key Attributes
Detail-oriented
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft tools such as : Excel incl. Pivot Tables , Words, PowerPoint
Sound knowledge of UAE Labor Laws
Ensures quality and standards are maintained
Highest Confidentiality Standards
Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office
Offshore insurance services knowledge is a must
Good command of English verbally, reading and writing Attention to detail and accuracy with all tasks
Able to work independently as well as within a team
