Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and highly skilled

Paediatric Nurse with experience in Paediatric Intensive Care (PICU) to join our growing team in Nauru.

This role is vital to delivering specialized, high-quality care to critically ill infants, children, and adolescents.

Work Location : Nauru

Those who can relocate to NAURU only needed to be applied.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver comprehensive nursing care to paediatric patients, especially those requiring intensive care.

Monitor and manage patients in critical condition using advanced medical equipment.

Administer medications, IVs, and treatments accurately and promptly.

Work collaboratively with paediatricians, intensivists, and multidisciplinary teams.

Provide family-centred care, supporting and educating families throughout treatment.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in patient records.

Respond quickly and effectively to paediatric emergencies.

Ensure infection control and safety standards are followed rigorously.

Participate in training, mentoring, and continuous quality improvement efforts.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Registered Nurse (RN) license from a recognized jurisdiction (mandatory).

Minimum 3 years of paediatric nursing experience, with at least 1 year in a PICU setting.

BLS (Basic Life Support) and PALS (Paediatric Advanced Life Support) certification required.

Proven ability to work in high-pressure environments.

Strong clinical judgment, decision-making, and communication skills.

Willingness to relocate and work in a remote island healthcare setting.

Cultural sensitivity and adaptability to diverse patient populations.
