We are a well-established Destination Management Company with over 14 years of experience specializing in inbound tourism. As we expand our portfolio, we are launching a new
Outbound Travel Division
and are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to lead and build this department from the ground up.
Role Overview:
The
Outbound Travel Division Manager
will be responsible for creating and managing the outbound travel department, developing products and packages, managing supplier relations, and generating sales with a strong focus on Arabic-speaking local clientele. This is a strategic leadership role for someone with a deep understanding of outbound travel trends, destination knowledge, and proven sales and team-building capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Department Setup:
Lead the development of the outbound division from inception.
Define structure, processes, and KPIs for the team.
Product Development:
Curate outbound travel packages to popular destinations across Europe, Asia, and beyond.
Ensure products are tailored to the preferences of local Arabic-speaking clientele.
Sales & Client Relations:
Develop and manage relationships with corporate and individual clients.
Handle inquiries, quotations, and conversions with a consultative approach.
Drive outbound sales through B2C and B2B channels.
Supplier Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with global DMCs, hotels, airlines, and tour providers.
Marketing Collaboration:
Work with the marketing team to design and implement targeted campaigns for outbound travel.
Team Leadership:
Hire, train, and manage outbound travel consultants as the team grows.
Mentor team members and ensure a high level of customer service.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of experience in outbound travel (preferably in the GCC market).
Fluent in
Arabic and English
(spoken and written).
Strong destination knowledge of major outbound travel regions (Europe, Southeast Asia, Turkey, etc.).
Excellent sales skills and client handling capabilities.
Previous experience in building or leading a travel department is highly preferred.
Strong negotiation skills with international suppliers.
Exceptional organizational and communication abilities.
Proficiency in reservation systems and travel software (e.g., Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre, etc.) is a plus.
