We are seeking a highly skilled OT Cybersecurity Expert to join our team in Doha, Qatar. In this critical role, you will be responsible for protecting our organization's operational technology (OT) systems and industrial control networks from cyber threats. You will work closely with both IT and OT teams to ensure the security and reliability of our critical infrastructure.
Develop and implement comprehensive OT cybersecurity strategies and policies
Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on OT systems
Design and maintain secure OT network architectures
Implement and manage security controls for industrial control systems (ICS) and SCADA environments
Monitor OT networks for security incidents and lead incident response efforts
Collaborate with IT security teams to address OT/IT convergence challenges
Perform risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for OT environments
Stay up-to-date with the latest OT cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies
Ensure compliance with relevant cybersecurity standards and regulations, including local requirements in Qatar and the Middle East region
Provide training and guidance to staff on OT cybersecurity best practices
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field
5+ years of experience in OT cybersecurity, with a focus on industrial control systems and critical infrastructure protection
In-depth knowledge of OT systems and protocols, including SCADA, PLC, and ICS
Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and standards, such as NIST and IEC 62443
Expertise in network security, vulnerability assessment, and penetration testing for OT environments
Proficiency in incident response, forensics, and risk management for industrial systems
Experience with programming languages such as Python and C++
Familiarity with OT/IT convergence challenges and solutions
Knowledge of local cybersecurity regulations and standards in Qatar and the Middle East region
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, GICSP, or CEH are preferred
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
