Capita Technologies is currently looking for Oracle Hyperion Functional Consultant with Public Sector Budget (on-prem) implementation experienceto be based in Oman.

Location: Muscat, Oman

Experience: 10+ years

Responsibilities:

Minimum 4 implementation:

cycle from start installation, requirement gathering, documentation, configuration, training, testing to Go-Live.

Minimum 2 implementations:

should be with the public sector, Government, SIFMIS, IFMIS, GIFMIS including, knowledge on pre-budget processes/activities for generating budget ceiling, issuance of budget call circular, budget process management/workflow and report building using Financial Reporting Studio (FRS).

Lead requirements gathering sessions, workshops, meeting etc. to understand business requirement and configure the system in line with the business requirements.

Conduct CRP and Sprint session with business owners

Document requirements and translate requirements to application

Work with technical consultants in understanding business requirement

Develop business and application documents to meet the requirement of the client.

Manage documentations and deliverables related to Hyperion Planning and Budgeting

Develop and maintains planning data entry forms.

Develop and maintain business rules

Manage Dimension Hierarchies

Develop and maintain task lists, calculation scripts and reports to support business requirements for planning cycles and reporting goals in the Hyperion Planning.

Manage Hyperion Essbase, Planning, Strategy Finance, SmartView, DRM and Reporting.

Design and maintain all Hyperion financial reports

Provides support and functional assistance to end users of Workspace and Smart view for Planning and Essbase/Reporting.

Conducted user acceptance testing and involved in every phase of implementation.

Provide end to end documentation related to complete the installation and implementation of the Hyperion planning application. This includes deliverables attached to each phase of the project.

Effectively and accurately communicate with management regarding project status, issue identification and remediation

Experience working in a team-orientated environment.

Having strong interpersonal and organizational skills, and excellent communication

Other duties may be assigned.

Qualification and skills:

Minimum 10 years' experience in implementation and management of Oracle Hyperion Planning and budgeting on premise Oracle EPM Solution.

Proven experience in optimizing data flow, improving system efficiency, and delivering end-to-end integration projects.

Must have led successful implementation of Hyperion

Prior experience leading Hyperion implementations/upgrades

Ability to work on all project phases: Project Preview, Fit/Gap Analysis, Configuration, Testing, Production Support

Oracle Certification preferred

Business Requirement and Analysis

Strong Documentation Skills

Ability to translate requirement to application

Proficient in Microsoft Excel

Financial Reporting Studio (FRS)

Demonstrate ability to interact effectively with all levels within the organization

The ability to work closely with users to understand business needs and tailor solutions to those requirements.

Maintain a positive can-do attitude and proactively reach out to users to provide solutions to issues.

Some level of experience with Oracle E-Business Suite. Able to know how budget data from Hyperion Planning interact with E-Business Suite application and vice versa.
