Responsible for all operational activities in conjunction with Agents within the Middle East (excluding Saudi Arabia & Bahrain) for all STC product lines. Handle all administrate day to day office activities and from time to time, identify and develop growth initiatives in the area for all product lines. Responsible for ensuring that the requirements of ISO 9001, STC Antitrust policy and codes of ethical conduct are fully met. To actively participate in regional functions and exercises that support the objectives of STC overall.

- Generating of Notice of Arrivals and Agents Advice.
- Raising of freight, demurrage and other invoices where applicable, in a timely manner.
- Co-ordination and close monitoring of updates for tank arrivals and actual date of vessel arrivals, by agents (where applicable).
- Monitoring of updates for empty return dates at Depot/Pier.
- Liaising with customers, Stolt origin offices and agents in respect to delays/ problems experienced on import moves.
- Coordinating with Stolt pol offices, shipping line and our Dubai agent for manifest fling, ensuring to file the discharge list prior cut-off.
- Maintain billing records for all imports.
- Receiving and co-ordination of export orders received from agents and customers.
- Review accuracy of quotes for orders received and shipments to be made as per the terms dictated in each order, prior to moves being created.
- Creation of moves and allocation of suitable tanks to each move, on a first in/ first out basis where possible.
- Responsible for the booking of shipments with shipping lines and co-ordination of documents between shipper, Stolt, nominated shipping lines and customs brokers, directly, or as performed by the agents.
- Responsible for the co-ordination of loading between, depots, transporters and the shipper as may be applicable, directly or as performed by agents.
- Co-ordination with shippers, customs brokers and agents (where applicable) to complete export customs formalities.
- Monitoring and invoicing of moves which incur demurrage at origin, and for destination demurrage which is uncollectible at destination.
- Confirmation of shipments and invoicing for each move to the customer.
- Ensuring all metrics are kept in line with company targets.
- Control and monitoring of inventory within the Middle East to ensure that tanks are made available for export within a minimal timeframe and that equipment is used on a first in/ first out basis.
- Oversee depot activities and co-ordination of repairs, periodic inspections, leak checks and special requirements as may be dictated by export customers, in conjunction with TSD.
- Gathering market and competition information from customers, agents and vendors and communicating the same to people and offices within Stolt that can use the information.
- To identify new opportunities for all STC product lines and communicate to people and offices within Stolt that can use the information.
- Follow up with customers on import overdue demurrage invoices, in conjunction with Accounts.
- Maintaining multiple excel reports on billings (THC recovery, Tank monitoring fees, additional income exchange BL fee etc.). Maintaining excel report and billings for specific customer based on the requirement.
- University degree.
- 3 years experience in Tank container or logistics industry is an advantage.
- Must be ethical, organized and goal oriented.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Computer literate on basic word/ excel programs.
- Strong international business experience and awareness of cultures.
- Uses judgment based on practice and precedence with supervision.
- Analytical thought needed to resolve issues in a variety of complex situations, without supervision.
- Requires use of conceptual and innovative thinking (i.e. \xe2\x80\x9cidentifying solutions\xe2\x80\x9d).
- Courtesy and tact is a significant part of the job in the exchange of information within the department.
- Developed communication skills to exchange complex information.
- Skilled communicator who influences and shapes the image of a complex division/business unit.
