Conduct and coordinate external audits, ensure readiness of vessels/barges for Clients Marine, HSE & Lifting requirements, DOC (Document of Compliance) & SMC (Safety Management Certificate) audits and close out in timely actions.
Coordinate with NPCC key departments for vessels/barges compliance to Client requirements, create action registry and follow-up timely close-outs of deficiencies.
Coordinate with Client inspectors, Marine Warranty Surveyors and other 3rd Party inspectors during inspections and close-outs to obtain final approval on compliance from them.
Ensure marine spreads are equipped with required critical equipment, manpower and support assets, such as marine vessels with required BP and HP capacity.
Ensure all required certification for equipment, lifting appliances, lifting gear and others is on board of the vessels/barges and up to date, as per the Client and MWS requirements.
Monitor the status of the hired marine vessels with respect to their effective utilization, hygiene conditions, bunkering, etc., and coordinate with concerned parties for required services.
Monitor the safety and environmental protection aspects of each vessel\'s operation and ensure sufficient shore-based support is available.
Monitor the activities of the offshore Logistics coordinators, clearance officers and jetty supervisor.

Verify the implementation of the SMS system and ensure that it is being maintained by following up reports from accidents, incidents and near misses.
Identify and update amendments to related mandatory laws and regulations with regards to the SMS manual.
Skills Required
Bachelor degree in Marine or relevant discipline
Certified as ISM (International Safety Management) lead auditor
Certified as Company and ship Security officer
3 years of relevant experience of which 1 year experience in marine management support (onshore)
Experience in offshore marine operations safety practices
Must be familiar with IMO (International Maritime Organization) regulations
Must be familiar with ISM (International Safety Management) & ISPS (International Ship and Port Security) codes
Knowledge of marine standing instructions (ADMA, ZADCO, OP, MOQ, ARAMCO and ONGC)
