Nauru Medical Centre is inviting qualified candidates to apply for the Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) --who specializes in administering anesthesia and providing perioperative care (before, during, and after surgical procedures).
Country Location: Republic of Nauru
Role and Responsibilities
Administer general, regional, or local anesthesia for surgery, obstetrics, and pain management.
Monitor patients' vital signs and responses during anesthesia.
Work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other medical professionals.
Manage patient recovery from anesthesia and provide postoperative pain control.
Assess patients preoperatively and explain anesthesia procedures and risks.
Education and Training
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent.
Licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
Critical care experience (usually 3-5 years minimum).
Completion of a Master's or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) in Nurse Anesthesia.
