Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and reliable Multi-Skills Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. This role is central to the preservation, upkeep, and improvement of our facilities and properties. The ideal candidate is a versatile problem-solver with a broad range of hands-on skills in plumbing, painting, carpentry, and masonry. You will be the go-to professional for a wide variety of maintenance requests, from minor repairs to larger-scale projects, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. A driver's license is mandatory for traveling between job sites, transporting materials, and responding to urgent maintenance calls.
Key Responsibilities
General Maintenance & Repair:

• Perform a wide array of maintenance tasks, demonstrating proficiency across multiple trades.
• Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify and proactively address maintenance issues.
• Respond promptly to urgent maintenance calls and work orders.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose problems effectively to determine the best course of action.

Cross-Trade Project Management:

• Manage small-to-medium projects from start to finish, which may involve a combination of skills (e.g., repairing a water-damaged wall, which involves plumbing, carpentry, and painting).
• Estimate time and materials required for diverse tasks.
• Source, pick up, and safely transport necessary materials and tools using a company vehicle.

Customer Service & Communication:

• Interact professionally with tenants, clients, and team members.
• Clearly explain issues, repair options, and completed work to non-technical individuals.
• Maintain a neat and professional appearance.

Safety & Compliance:

• Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and OSHA guidelines.
• Ensure a safe and clean work area during and after all projects.
• Properly use, maintain, and store all tools and equipment.

Administrative Duties:

• Accurately document work performed, materials used, and time spent on each task.
• Utilize mobile devices or work orders for receiving assignments and updating status.

Qualifications & Skills
Required:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in a multi-skilled maintenance role.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Strong working knowledge and hands-on experience in two or more of the following: plumbing, painting, carpentry, and masonry.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions, manuals, and basic sketches.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a self-motivated work ethic.

Technical Skills:

• Tools: Proficient in using a wide range of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment common to the trades.
• Physical Ability: Must be able to lift 50+ pounds, work from ladders, scaffolds, and in confined spaces, and stand/walk for extended periods.

Preferred:

• Formal apprenticeship or vocational training in a core trade.
• EPA Certification for HVAC (if applicable) or other trade-specific licenses.
